Melanie, originally from British Columbia, met Edward in 2001 and moved to Georgina in 2002.


They have three beautiful adult children and one beautiful granddaughter that melts their hearts every day.


She started her real estate career in 2002 when she joined Edward to work behind the scenes of his successful Real Estate business and also started her own business of renovating houses. Having a passion for decorating and making old tired places look new and functional in today’s world, she had a very successful business.


But in 2020,  Melanie came out from behind the curtain and started her own career as a Sales Representative. Specializing in all aspects of residential properties. Bringing with her an abundance of energy, creativity, dedication, experience and personal knowledge to her work. 


Melanie is proud to have been a part of the Georgina community for over 20 years now. She loves volunteering and giving back as best she can. Activities such as parent council, Rogers TV, Big Brothers Big Sisters of York Region as well as being a board member for Georgina Cares, a local children’s charity, has allowed her to make great friends and roots within this community she loves calling home.

She arranged everything including viewings and taking me to the various places and even kept in contact with the successful landlord up to moving in and gave me advise on being chosen as the tenant for the place over another applicant. It was a difficult time as I had to go through major changes and downsize but she had empathy and compassion and was supportive even though she didn't know me. What was first an overwhelming experience turned out successful and I can't thank her enough, I am loving my new diggs.
